What is sustainability?
"Sustainability" means the ability to be maintained at a certain rate or level. The term was launched by the United Nations in 1987 to describe development that meets the needs of the current generation without losing the ability to meet the goods and environmental needs of future generations. Awareness of this concept of creating the present while considering the next generation is growing all over the world every year, and it has now become the most important road map for building a better society where humans and nature coexist.
To achieve the sustainable society, concrete goals were set at the UN Sustainable Summit in 2015. These goals are known as the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). The SDGs consist of 17 goals and 169 targets to achieve a better society and a more sustainable future. As a member of this planet, Aster Co., Ltd makes proactive actions to realize the sustainable society.
