2010
Due to the impact of the Lehman shock, the former company's Akita factory was decided to close. President Hongo takes over the employees and factory building and launches the current Aster Co., Ltd.
2011
Began production of in-vehicle components for luxury brand cars. developed LED lighting. Started research and development of "KASHIME" caulking technology.
2013
Started research on AST coil
2015
Adopted by NEDO project (Strategic Energy-saving Technology Innovation Program / Development for Commercial Applications / Research and development of high-density, high-output motors with Aster fastened coils)
2016
Adopted by NEDO project (Strategic energy-saving technology innovation program / Demonstration and development / Research and development of technology to accelerate the manufacturing process of Aster coils and of high-density, high-efficiency motors)
Established Techno-Lab Koriyama, an R&D base in Fukushima Prefecture.
2019
Completion of new factory. Started pilot line for mass production.Adopted NEDO project (Strategic energy-saving technology innovation program / Practical application development / Development of manufacturing process for Aster coil with aluminum and development of light-weight motor)

Development of stator platform for AST coil and development of production process of AST motor
